    I went to Alex because I was feeling overwhelmed by my work and felt I was heading towards a burnout.     I am a skeptical person and didn’t trust coaching or similar practices. Knowing Alex for a long time I said I would give it a try as I was in a bad spot with my new job and figured I have nothing to lose. We worked in a period when I had recently changed jobs and could not accommodate with the new team and neither the responsibilities. From our first discussions I realized I was overdoing it exactly because I wanted to fit in but this brought me the opposite effect. Alex helped me to be more accepting of things outside my control area and ease the pressure I was putting on myself to fit in.
